Elby Hernandez

Elby Hernandez is an attorney turned real estate advisor with The Opes Group of Compass. 

Born and raised in Maryland to Salvadoran parents, Elby attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies. Upon graduation, she worked at the U.S. Department of State before moving to Miami to attend the University of Miami School of Law (go Canes). Elby immediately fell in love with the city’s vibrant culture, food scene, and lifestyle. Elby first joined the real estate industry as a real estate attorney for one of the top settlement companies in Washington, D.C. before relocating back to Miami and joining top-producing team The Opes Group as a real estate advisor.  Elby’s understanding of the relocation process, coupled with her knowledge of the real estate industry and South Florida market, have proven critical in helping her clients achieve their real estate goals.

Elby is a proud Miami Beach resident and in her free time loves traveling, trying new restaurants (feel free to reach out for recommendations), and hanging out with her friends at Flanigans.
