Amazon has signed Wynwood’s largest office lease, securing 50,333 square feet at the Wynwood Plaza campus—a major milestone for the area. The announcement comes just over a year after founder Jeff Bezos relocated to Miami.
Wynwood’s Business Boom
“We are thrilled to welcome Amazon to Wynwood Plaza,” said Andrew Trench of Cushman & Wakefield, adding that more companies are expected to follow. Developers L&L Holding Company and Oak Row Equities share confidence in Miami’s continued growth.
Other Tenants
The Claure Group (25,400 square feet) and law firm Weitz & Luxenberg (18,000 square feet) have also signed on. Upon completion, the 12-story office tower will feature 266,000 square feet of Class AAA space.
A Vibrant Mixed-Use Campus
Wynwood Plaza also includes 509 luxury rental apartments nearing completion, 45,000 square feet of amenities, and a 26,000-square-foot public plaza designed by Field Operations, the team behind NYC’s High Line. Surrounding the plaza will be 25,000 square feet of retail, with dining, boutiques, and convenience options.
Development Team
The project’s leasing team includes L&L’s Bryan Lapidus and Cushman & Wakefield representatives, while Amazon was represented by Savills. Shorenstein Investment Advisers and Claure Group are key partners in this transformative project.
