$350M Riverside Wharf Project Moves Forward With Dewatering Permit Filing

Momentum is building for one of downtown Miami’s most anticipated developments: the $350 million Riverside Wharf. A key milestone was reached as developers officially filed a dewatering permit—a necessary step before construction begins on the waterfront site.

What’s Coming to Riverside Wharf?

The ambitious project will transform the site into a dynamic, mixed-use destination, featuring:

  • A two-level nightclub

  • A dayclub

  • Multiple restaurants

  • Flexible event and meeting spaces

  • An 8-story Dream Hotel with 165 rooms

Altogether, Riverside Wharf is envisioned as a high-energy hospitality and entertainment hub, designed to enhance Miami’s iconic riverside experience.

Permit Details and Development Timeline

The dewatering permit application was signed on June 30 by a representative of the developer and has now been submitted to Miami-Dade’s Department of Environmental Resources Management for review.

Moss & Associates is listed as the general contractor on the project.

While the dewatering permit moves through review, several other key construction permits—including those for site work, phased vertical construction, and master building plans—remain under consideration by the City of Miami’s Building Department.

Groundbreaking & Developers

If all goes according to plan, groundbreaking is expected in summer 2025, with completion slated for 2027.

Riverside Wharf is being developed through a joint venture by Breakwater Hospitality, Driftwood Capital, and Merrimac Ventures, blending local expertise with bold vision to reimagine the waterfront.
