Soccer superstar Lionel Messi is making another major play in Miami—this time in Brickell real estate.
According to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, Messi is purchasing four luxury residences at the Cipriani Residences Miami, a high-profile tower currently under construction in the heart of Brickell.
While full details of the transaction remain under wraps, one of the units is reportedly valued at $7.5 million, with the value of the remaining three yet to be disclosed.
Set to become a defining feature of the Miami skyline, the Cipriani tower is expected to rise to 940 feet above ground (950 feet above sea level)—making it taller than any current building in Brickell. The design is being led by renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica, with the building slated to offer 397 ultra-luxury condos upon completion.
