Burger lovers of Broward, your cravings are about to get a whole lot easier to satisfy. Skinny Louie — the wildly popular smash burger joint that’s been winning hearts (and stomachs) all over Miami — is making its Broward County debut this summer with a brand-new location at Dania Pointe in Dania Beach.
If you haven’t heard of Skinny Louie yet... where have you been? The Miami-born burger spot blew up in 2024 thanks to its perfectly crispy-edged smash burgers, old-school shakes, and golden, addictive fries. It's the kind of place that had Broward fans braving traffic and Wynwood parking just to get a bite.
Now, the buzz is reaching new levels. After Broward foodie influencer @thebrowardscene dropped a teaser video of the upcoming Dania Pointe location, fans went wild. One ecstatic follower said, “Now I don't have to go out of my way and fight for parking in Wynwood!” Another just said what everyone’s thinking: “This is so fire 🔥🔥🔥.”
The hype isn’t just social media chatter. Skinny Louie earned major culinary street cred earlier this year by winning top honors at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash. The burger that stole the show? The Wagyu Louie — a jaw-dropping creation featuring double-smashed wagyu beef, smoked gouda, truffle aioli, and pickled jalapeños, all nestled in a fluffy brioche bun. The win came with a $2,500 check and instant icon status.
Credit goes to owner Gonzalo Rubino, an Argentinian-born burger artisan who turned his obsession with burgers into one of Miami’s must-try food spots.
While the award-winning Wagyu Louie isn’t on the daily menu (yet), the Dania Pointe location will serve all the signature hits, including:
Skinny Louie Cheeseburger: grilled onions, double American cheese, pickles, and their signature Louie Sauce
Classic Burger: American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, and mustard
Applewood Bacon Burger: applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, and more Louie Sauce
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a first-timer, this is your summer to see what the hype is all about — no I-95 trip required.
