The Underline Expands: Miami’s Longest Section Yet Opens

A major milestone has been reached for The Underline, Miami’s ambitious 10-mile linear park and urban trail. According to the Miami Herald, a portion of its longest section yet is now officially open to the public.

From Brickell to Coconut Grove

The new stretch of The Underline connects Brickell to Coconut Grove, adding nearly 2 miles of pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly pathways. This section runs from the Vizcaya Metrorail Station to just before the Coconut Grove Metrorail Station, offering a safe, scenic connection for residents and visitors.

Phase 3: The Longest Section Yet

This opening is part of Phase 3, the most extensive portion of The Underline so far. Once completed, Phase 3 will span 7.36 miles, stretching all the way south to the Dadeland South Metrorail Station.
