The new short-distance schedule includes 36 daily departures, 16 of which are dedicated exclusively to local travel, offering a total of 4,450 seats per day.
Simplified Pricing Structure
Brightline has also rolled out a revised fare system featuring fixed peak and off-peak pricing. As of this morning, tickets between Miami and West Palm Beach were available starting at $19 during off-peak hours. This pricing model aims to provide greater transparency and value for both commuters and leisure travelers.
Long-Distance Service Still Growing
The company’s long-distance network between South Florida and Orlando continues to operate with 20 daily departures and 10,414 seats. These trains remain accessible to short-distance passengers, offering additional flexibility for riders across the network.
Expanding Capacity Ahead
Brightline plans to add more train cars by year’s end, nearly doubling its long-distance seating capacity compared to the same time last year. The expansion supports the company’s broader goal of enhancing mobility options throughout Florida’s most traveled corridors.
